From the Executive Director

It is truly an exciting time for WSPA – with a new and ambitious strategy underway, we are well positioned to make lasting change for animals around the world.

For 30 years, WSPA has improved the lives of millions of animals and is now one of the world’s leading international animal welfare organizations. Building on our past successes and well-honed expertise, we are concentrating on issues that cause extreme suffering to countless animals around the world. Working to end cruelty to wildlife, helping animals in communities stricken by disasters, and putting a stop to the painful culling of dogs – all these continue to be priorities for WSPA. Here in the U.S., we are not only supporting these vital global efforts, but are also launching a multi-decade campaign to end the suffering of farm animals. I urge you to continue to visit for the latest updates on this effort, in the months ahead.

None of this work could be done without our donors, supporters and partners. I am inspired by our shared passion to end animal cruelty, worldwide, and look forward to achieving great things together. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
