WSPA's Leadership Giving Society is made up of a committed group of individuals who believe in the value of investing in animal welfare. They understand that making long-term, sustainable improvements for animals takes planning, know-how, commitment - and of course - money.

The investment is worth it! In the past few years, our Leadership Gift Society members have seen how their support directly affects the scope, breadth and efficiency of WSPA projects around the globe.

You can become a member of our Leadership Giving Society by making a gift of $1,000 or more this year.

Leadership Giving Society Benefits

As a valued member of WSPA’s Leadership Giving Society, you will receive:

• A dedicated WSPA Staff member to address your individual needs and questions

• Updates and stories from the field

• Special invitations to WSPA events

• Quarterly magazines

• Listing in the WSPA annual report

But what is my gift doing for the animals?
We know that you do not choose to give to WSPA in order to receive benefits for yourself, but to defend and improve the lives of animals. We would like to share some examples of the impact your Leadership Gift can have, and how your gift can make the world a place where animal welfare matters and animal cruelty ends.

Leadership Giving Society Levels of Giving

AMBASSADOR – gift of $100,000+

As a WSPA Ambassador, your gift can help:

• Cover a significant portion of an annual program or campaign budget for many of our priority animal welfare programs including protecting dogs and cats from inhumane deaths, protecting animals from the impacts of disasters and developing sustainable, humane farming.

CHAMPION – gift of $50,000 - $99,000

As a WSPA Champion, your gift can help:

• Fund the cost of an entire disaster relief operation for companion and working animals, including food, veterinary care and shelter.

• Purchase a vehicle to serve as a mobile clinic to reach stray and injured animals in remote locations.

RESCUER – gift of $10,000 - $49,999

As a WSPA Rescuer, your gift can help:

• Supply food and nutrition costs for rehabilitating 10 orphaned bear cubs.

• Provide proper animal care training and equipment for 500 owners of working horses and donkeys.

PROTECTOR – gift of $5,000 - $9,999

As a WSPA Protector, your gift can help:

• Run a 3-day training course on humane animal handling for 25 farmers in a developing country.

• Produce humane education materials in several languages for use in schools around the world.

DEFENDER – a gift of $2,500 - $4,999

As a WSPA Defender, your gift can help:

• Pay for six months’ worth of fuel for a mobile spay-neuter and vet clinic to deliver care to unwanted dogs and cats.

• Provide six months’ worth of medications to treat infectious diseases in donkeys and horses.

GUARDIAN – a gift of $1,000 - $2,499

As a WSPA Guardian, your gift can help:

• Fund rehabilitation and alternative career training for a dancing bear owner in India.

• Pay for veterinary care and transportation to a sanctuary for a rescued bear.
