Dear Friend,
The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) urgently needs your help in stopping the spread of factory farming. In many countries, factory farms have the legal right to do anything they want to their animals, including locking them up in an environment where there is no fresh air, no room to move, and no daylight.
Billions of farm animals throughout the world are reared behind the closed door of the factory farm. They are caged, crammed and confined, and pushed to their physical limits in the quest for more meat, milk, or eggs. Alarmingly, factory farming practices are spreading, specifically in countries in Latin America and Asia.

What is WSPA doing about factory farming?
WSPA's Farmwatch campaign is working to stop the suffering. With your help, WSPA will target countries in Latin America and Asia to create model farms that demonstrate to governments, farmers and the public that humane farming is possible by:
- Working with key decision-makers to create animal welfare laws that provide the protection these animals so desperately need.
- Establishing humane slaughter practices so that farm animals don't end their lives in extreme fear, stress and pain.
- Influencing trade policy so priority is given to trade in products from humane farming practices that address the natural needs of the animals and prohibits cruelty.
How Can I Help?
