Workplace Giving

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace giving is a means by which employees can donate to charitable organizations of their choice through payroll pledges.  At a specified time of year, donors can sign up through their workplace to have a regular donation automatically deducted from their pay throughout the year and sent to the charity of their choice.

Why donate through Workplace Giving?

Workplace giving is a great way to donate that benefits both donors and charities.  It allows donors to make regular, meaningful contributions without ever having to write a check or provide a credit card number.  Workplace Giving also benefits WSPA by enabling us to spend fewer resources on fundraising and more on helping animals, and it provides us with steady, reliable funding that allows us to plan our long-term campaigns and also respond to disasters and emergencies when they occur.

How can I donate to WSPA through Workplace Giving?

It's easy!  Follow the steps below to find out how you can sign up to donate to WSPA through your Workplace Giving program.  If you have questions, contact your company's Human Resources department, or contact our office at 1-800-883-9772, wspa@wspausa.org

CFC Campaigns
: If you are a federal employee, you can contribute to WSPA through a paycheck deduction in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Registration for this giving program is usually held from September 1st to December 15th. You can find WSPA under the Animal Charities of America (ACA) section- our CFC number is 11904.

State and Municipal Campaigns
: If you are a state or local government employee you may be able to give to WSPA through Independent Charities of America (ICA).  WSPA participates in many state campaigns and our organization identification number is different in each state.

United Way Campaigns
: You may be able to give to WSPA through your employer's United Way giving campaign. Many local United Ways will allow you to write in a charity of your choice (please use our full name: World Society for the Protection of Animals).

Independent Corporate Campaigns
: Check to see if WSPA is listed in your company's payroll giving program. If you don't see WSPA listed, please contact your human resources department and nominate WSPA to be included or have your human resource department contact us.

Testimonials

"During the last couple of months our veterinary funds have been taking some real strain and are almost totally depleted. Without WSPA’s help, we simply could not rescue and treat any more animals."
