21st Annual Walk Benefiting the Providence Animal Rescue League September 2009 On Sunday, September 13, 2009, hundreds of Rhode Islanders and their pets will come together for the Providence Animal Rescue League’s signature event, Pet Walk Rhode Island. The walk features a scenic and fun 3.5 mile (5K) walk through Roger Williams Park in Providence. There will be family fun activities including pet games and contests, activities for kids, obedience demonstrations, and fabulous prizes! Celebrating its 21st year, Pet Walk RI has been THE pet event to attend.
