| | | Bequests and Life Income Gifts Angels for Animals
People from all over America are choosing to leave a bequest to the animals in their will or estate plan. These folks aren't just heroes...they're more like Angels. After all, what would you call someone who brings comfort, food, shelter and veterinary care to a suffering animal? No matter what the size of your estate, your gift will make all the difference in the world to animals that have lost all hope. You can truly be an Angel for Animals.
For example, two bear cubs became orphans the day their mother was shot by a hunter. Thank goodness the hunter at least had the compassion to do something to help those baby animals. He made a phone call to the Department of Fish and Wildlife, who brought the cubs to a WSPA-sponsored bear cub sanctuary in Idaho. Once rescued, the cubs were given round-the-clock care that included bottle-feeding, veterinary checks, specially constructed dens for sleeping and the time they needed to recover from this trauma.
Every day, animals just like these get a second chance in life, because people like you care enough to step forward and help. But what if you could do something more? What if you could go on caring for the animals you love, long after you have passed away?
These pages will introduce you to powerful tools for animal protection and answer questions you may have. To request a copy of WSPA's Angels for Animals guide booklet, or for more information, please contact:
