Creating a World where Animal Welfare Matters and Animal Cruelty has Ended
WSPA is working to end the dog meat trade. The commercial production of dog meat involves cruelty at every stage, from "dog farm" or street capture, to transport and killing.
It is estimated that at least two million dogs are farmed for food every year in South Korea. The terrible conditions they are raised in cannot meet their basic welfare needs.
